Kyle is a highly experienced Running Coach and Personal Trainer with over 25 years in endurance sport, including managing a team of fitness professionals at one of Europe's biggest sporting facilities. He brings a rare blend of deep technical knowledge, elite-level performance, and real-world understanding of how training fits into busy lives.

A respected athlete in his own right, Kyle has represented Great Britain at the World Championships, is a multiple national champion, finished 3rd at the British 100km Championships, and regularly places in the top 5 at Ultra World Tour events.

He has excelled across the spectrum — from 5km to 100km — with personal bests that speak for themselves:
10k – 30mins | Half Marathon – 68 mins | Marathon – 2:25 | 100k – 6:54

Kyle holds a Sports & Exercise Science BSc (Hons), is a fully qualified Personal Trainer, and is continuously developing his coaching practice through sports science, real-world data, and athlete feedback.

Beyond coaching, Kyle is:

  • Race Director of the Moray Way Ultras Series

  • A Firefighter

  • Chair of the Alford Bull Running Club

  • Co-host of the Tartan Running Shorts podcast

  • Dad of two, juggling life, work, and training — just like many of the athletes he supports

This combination of elite performance and "real life" understanding makes Kyle uniquely placed to help a wide range of athletes. His coaching résumé ranges from complete beginners and weight-loss clients, to experienced marathoners and competitive ultra-athletes.
